This Sunday is Pulpit Freedom Sunday

This Sunday, October 2, 2011, hundreds to possibly thousands of Ministers, Priests, Pastors, Rabbis, and Church leaders will be standing up for truth in proselytizing

Pulpit Freedom Sunday began in 2008 with 33 ministers due to direct confrontation and opposition to the Johnson Amendment. This amendment, without ever receiving a valid voting process, continually endeavors to financially punish via the IRS, religious leaders who are outspoken enough to mention politics or political leaders at the pulpit.

Religious leadership has undergone attack after attack through the centuries, yet current religious leaders in the USA will come together, on the right and on the left, to honor this year’s Pulpit Freedom Sunday.

Read the U.S. Constitution and then explain how could the Johnson Amendment even be considered constitutional… it can’t! The Johnson Amendment moved through Washington DC in 1954, just as slimy and slick as Obamacare moved through in early 2010, and every American is well aware that this monster is also not constitutional.
