Time for a History Month for other Cultures in the United States

February appointed as Black History Month has almost cycled through another year of national observance. How many years have all other cultures been denied for one culture? Nationally and original Nationality-34 years. This is shameful! I think it’s high time that other cultures and continental citizens are enabled with history and celebration who made contributions upon America. Where is the British History Month, Chinese History Month, French History Month, German History Month, Greek History Month, Irish History Month, Italian History Month, Japanese History Month, Russian History Month, Spanish History Month and Swedish History Month just to name just a few?

How would American society feel on the whole if there was just a White History Month? Why is there no Native American History or North American History or Studies in school? Where is the White Channel or the Native American Channel? I’m just saying, it’s something to think about. Do you know who, when, why the first Chinese came to America? Do you know what Sweden has to do with Delaware? Why is Roman History important to America? If you don’t know the answers to these questions, you don’t know history!

St. Patrick’s Day, Oktoberfest, Cinco de Mayo, and Columbus Day do not substitute, constitute or equate to  nationally or nationality celebrated history holidays!

It’s time for a history month for other cultures in the United States, if one is getting preferential treatment!
