Ina Garten appears to be above any “wee ones“, on death’s door, who request a Make-A-Wish Foundation visit.
Heartless witch…. 100 requests a month, averages to 3 a day, wow that’s light reading for the average cookbook reader. There is no excuse for this shoddy episode. Any grown woman who would ignore a dying child, in any way when she could help is an abomination. May every souffle crash, meringue crystallize, and may fugu do her in.
If Ina Garten was a true humanitarian she would not have ignored the Make-A-Wish Foundation request two years in a row. I am sure that if Ina Garten understood that a chef cooks for many, and those many are normally a family unit with children, and not just for one — the camera, she could be a better human.
What about last year… that’s right, that was just one of those liberal oversights…
What happened in March of this year as Ina knew then? ” ‘Barefoot Contessa’ AGREES to See Make-A-Wish Kid”
The spin is in for this earlier this month: “Ina Garten Gets Dissed by Make-A-Wish Foundation”
Well, Well, Well… guess the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree “…Garten’s mother, an intellectual with an interest in opera, refused her daughter’s requests to assist her in the kitchen and instead directed her to concentrate on schoolwork…”
