Would the DOJ Be Scrubbing, uh… Sanitizing the Web Site Regarding ‘Project Gunrunner’?

Has the United States Department of Justice been Spring cleaning the department’s website. Screen captures appear to confirm something significant disappeared prior to July:

Let’s begin with an Eric Holder speech declaring knowledge of “…our ongoing Project Gunrunner…” on Thursday, April 2, 2009. Link: http://www.justice.gov/ag/speeches/2009/ag-speech-090402.html   Screen Capture:

Note on the right side of the page the boxThe Recovery Act and the Department of Justice Learn about our efforts to jumpstart the economy” It is clickable Link: http://www.justice.gov/recovery/ that will open to this Screen Capture:

When clicking on the pertinent Read More under the Link: http://www.justice.gov/recovery/rec-prog.html#atf opens to this Screen Capture:

Which provides an “Updated: June 2011” date and two clickable text lines of  Links: ( http://www.atf.gov/recovery/index.htm and http://www.atf.gov/recovery/project-gunrunner.htm) that each lead to this version of “PAGE NOT FOUND”

If the page was last updated in June then where are the linked details? When did they disappear? It seems that someone has been modifying the site extremely “Fast and Furious“!
