Do American Citizens Know How to Pronounce Corpsman?

Why yes, yes they do… probably every generation alive in the USA and are patriotic American citizens are smarter than a 1st year President.  Americans have watched (minus any John Wayne military movies) TV shows and definitely know the pronunciation. There has been innumerable shows that we have grown up with: Sgt. Bilko, Combat, McHale’s Navy, Rat Patrol, M*A*S*H, Gomer Pyle USMC, The Lieutenant, JAG, NCIS, Hogan’s Heroes, Black Sheep Squadron, Tour of Duty, and China Beach – let alone the Military Channel! Let’s not forget – novels, biographies & history books, parades, holidays, graveyards, video games, comic strips (Beetle Bailey), military reunions, and our own family times spent in and around the military. It’s in our history, lives, loves, and security of the United States of America!

Corpsman is pronounced like [ Core + Man ] Bogus POTUS which sounds similar to Koran (Maybe a term you are more familiar with)!

Dangers of TOTUS: Obama Reads Word “Corpsman” as “Corpse Man” Twice

” Here is video showing the dangers of being so heavily dependent on a teleprompter. President Obama was speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast and was telling about a Navy Corpsman who assisted the suffering people of Haiti. But as his head bobbed back and forth between his two teleprompters, he read the word “Corpsman” and pronounced it “Corpse Man” twice.”

Actually, if the clip were just a tad longer it would reveal a 3rd gaffe of “Corpse Man”. Truly a major slap upon the military from the Commander in Chief and you are an embarrassment in front of the entire world. Major [ pronounced – May + jour ] FAILURE! Bogus POTUS! Why don’t you try “Pronunciation Patterns” ?
