December 10, 2010
Dear Mrs. XXX
Thank you for writing me regarding S. 3991, the Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act of 2010. I appreciate hearing from you.
The Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act was introduced on November 30, 2010, by Senator Harry Reid. This legislation is intended to provide collective bargaining rights for public safety officers employed by states or their political subdivisions. In addition, this legislation does not require states to provide collective bargaining rights for employees in cities with a population of less than 5,000 people or with fewer than 25 full-time employees. On December 8, 2010, a procedural vote was held to allow the Senate to consider the legislation. While I supported breaking a filibuster and allowing the Senate to consider the bill, the motion to invoke cloture failed to receive the required sixty votes.
Again, thank you for contacting me. I value your input. Please do not hesitate to contact me or my office regarding this or any other matter of concern to you.

Sincerely,

Mark Pryor

Elena Kagan’s Lack of an Answer to a Direct Question Speaks Volumes

Kagan Declines To Say Gov’t Has No Power to Tell Americans What To Eat

RepublicanSCOTUS | June 29, 2010 | 1:19

Sen. Coburn discusses the health care bill and the extent of the government’s power to impose mandates on Americans under the authority of the Constitution’s commerce clause. Coburn is holding a copy of the Federalist papers.

If you think a population’s diet was never controlled, think again… The Nazi Diet. Read it and (get) creep(ed out)!

They’re Coming to Take me Away, Ha-Haaa!
Napoleon XIV

Remember when you ran away
And I got on my knees
And begged you not to leave
Because I’d go beserk

Well you left me anyhow
And then the days got worse and worse
And now you see I’ve gone
Completely out of my mind

And they’re coming to take me away ha-haaa
They’re coming to take me away ho ho hee hee ha haaa
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I’ll be happy to see those nice young men
In their clean white coats
And they’re coming to take me away ha haaa

You thought it was a joke
And so you laughed
You laughed when I said
That losing you would make me flip my lid

Right? You know you laughed
I heard you laugh. You laughed
You laughed and laughed and then you left
But now you know I’m utterly mad

And they’re coming to take me away ha haaa
They’re coming to take me away ho ho hee hee ha haaa
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they’re coming to take me away ha haaa

I cooked your food
I cleaned your house
And this is how you pay me back
For all my kind unselfish, loving deeds
Ha! Well you just wait
They’ll find you yet and when they do
They’ll put you in the A.S.P.C.A.
You mangy mutt

And they’re coming to take me away ha haaa
They’re coming to take me away ha haaa ho ho hee hee
To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time
And I’ll be happy to see those nice young men
In their clean white coats

And they’re coming to take me away
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they’re coming to take me away ha haaa

The “Obamanation” Continues the Lying Discourse Regarding Immigration, Arizona, and John Kyl

Which is more realistic – that Senator Kyl decided to go rogue at a small meeting with no professional news media in attendance or…

…that Obama lies again?

Logic dictates that since the administration wants to initiate a lawsuit against Arizona regarding Constitutional and State immigration laws and that the 1200 National Guard have never appeared as promised back in May, it tends to validate Senator John Kyl’s statement. No Matter How the White House Spins It!

Look at each man’s record of honesty and patriotism as well.

Senator John Kyl you make me smile 🙂 You are a Hero, Patriot and Statesman!

You are in excellent company as well:

Democratic Politicians Fall to the Left and Keep on Falling

Liberal Lemmings Cut Their Noses to Spite Their Faces

Democrats appear to be the new lemmings everywhere. They only follow their “Shallow Hal” (Ever loving his Obamacare blindly) Obama and all of the shady and shifty leadership examples that have passed before them. They follow and follow until they totally have to jump off that cliff and commit political suicide and all human respectability. Is it so much to ask that when you have been voted into an office of such public responsibility and ethics that you conform to real world responsibility and ethics in your own life? As a political persona, you are expected to uphold the U.S. Constitution, the highest law of the land… were you just too lazy? above it? paid off? What excuse can you give for wasting Americans’ time, money and patience?

Under the Obama Administration and in no particular order-Slime Time Roll Call Random Sampling:

Rep. William Delahunt (D-MA 10th District) to Retire
Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT) to Retire
Rep. Eric Massa (D-NY 29th District) Resigns/Retires
Baltimore, MD Mayor Sheila Dixon (D) Resigns
Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY 15th District) on Leave?
Rep. Marion Berry (D-AR 1st District) to Retire
Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) to Retire
Rep. John Tanner (D-TN 8th District) to Retire
Gov. Bill Ritter from Colorado (D) to Retire
Rep. Vic Snyder (D-AR 2nd District) to Retire
Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND) to Retire
Rep. Dennis Moore (D-KS 3rd District) to Retire
White House Adviser Van Jones Resigns
Rep. Brian Baird (D-WA 3rd District) to Retire
Hoboken, NJ Mayor Peter Cammarano (D) Resigned after just 3 weeks
Rep. Bart Gordon (D-TN 6th District) to Retire
Rep. Parker Griffith (D-AL 5th District) switched parties now known as Rep. Parker Griffith (R-AL 5th District)

There have been so many at various levels (so many that it would take hours to list) and there’s more to come… and if they trounce further without abate, the election cycles 2010 and beyond will take care of this. Tea Parties and sharing knowledge are making a dent. Keep up the fine work!

The Final Retirement:

Sen. Ted Kennedy Massachusetts (D)dies at 77
Rep. John Murtha Pennsylvania (D)dies at 77

I wonder if these were the new-fangled jobs Obama spoke of? hmm?

Lame Duck on Collusion Course with Health Care History

As Bogus POTUS aka the less than 3 Year Lame Duck President continues his saga of touting government run health care, what’s up with this: Health Insurance Industry Fair Competition Act? I mean either there is a reason to diddle with this or not, Congress! Looks like there is some collusion going on, hmm?

It’s good to know that Patriots are ever watchful as Tea Partiers on ‘Alert’ as Democrats Lay Groundwork for Health Care Passage and that Senator Jim Bunning has not rolled over. Where are the stalwart Senators and Representatives in aiding and supporting Sen. Bunning? Health Care and Unemployment benefits are not rights!

Sen. Bunning on blocking unemployment benefits

“From C-SPAN2 coverage of the Senate floor 3/2/10, Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) discusses his blocking the extension of unemployment benefits and health insurance subsidies for the jobless. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) responds to Bunning.”

It’s all good Senator Bunning says it best and appears that he needs no relief.
